About this event

Meet us down at the creek for endless days, building forts, getting muddy, coming home with scraped knees and a head full of stories. No rigid curriculum. Just a creek, some trees, real tools, and a whole lot of freedom. Kids learn to safely use whittling knives, hand saws, drills, flints and hammers, tools that are genuinely a little risky, and genuinely thrilling. Under close supervision, they build the judgment to assess risk themselves, not avoid it. We care about the doing, not the finished product. A wonky shelter built through trial, error and teamwork teaches more than a perfect one
